Kabar terbaru dari Jeddah menyebutkan bahwa rencana untuk memperluas daerah di sekitar Ka’bah dipercepat. Perluasan daerah tersebut meng-cover area seluas 300.000 meter persegi. Pihak pemerintah setempat telah mengalokasikan dana sebesar 6.000.000.000 Riyal ( berapa rupiah ya? ) sebagai pengganti kompensasi daerah yang akan terkena penggusuran. Penghancuran bangunan di sekit ar Ka’bah sendiri sudah dimulai sejak tanggal 9 Maret 2008.
Well, that prove Islam is growing FAST and expansion is necessary indeed but this will be major expansion and many new hotels. Alhamdulillah
